Contracts Administrator

Why This is an Exciting Role:

The Contracts Administrator will fulfill contracting requirements associated with the entire lifecycle of a technical services contract. A successful candidate will be one that is energetic, is a self-starter, and works well in both team and individual environments. This position requires the ability to pivot quickly between functional roles connected with Program Management, Business Development, the Contracts organization and various levels of Management and Senior Leadership throughout BI&A in developing creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation.

Responsibilities include:
Exercise the authorized commitment of the company, through appropriate signature authority, to negotiate and contract for the sale of products and services for the organization in prime and subcontract positions in support of the Government customer/ end user
Work as a member of multiple teams, including lead and individual contributor roles connected to Program Management, Functional Teams and Corporate groups
Support dynamic, deadline-driven proposal preparation activities as the contracts partner with Business Development and a diverse customer set
Communicate with business leaders to understand preparation and administration of strategic Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Request for Proposal responses, collaborate with law on licensing of Intellectual property
Summarize complex contractual issues; prepare, develop and offer recommendations to leaders regarding creative solutions and risk mitigation planning.
Apply working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS in execution of agreements within a Government technical services environment
Perform internal audits and process improvements related to contract administration, oversight, licensing and intellectual property strategies
Partner with teammates to support internal self-governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with Government DCMA related functions in support of compliant systems including Certified Purchasing System Review (CPSR)

Experience and Qualifications:

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related work experience or Master's degree and 8 years of related work experience
Required Qualifications:

An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Desired Qualifications:

Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail as a priority
Strong communication skills in a team environment
Willingness to be a product and process owner and develop independent recommendations for improvement
Ability to be a quick learner and be able to multi-task
Business Data Analysis working with excel
Business Development awareness and Strategic Partnering
Willingness to "go the extra mile roll up your sleeves" to accomplish mission driven requirements

Telework Availability:

Hybrid (will need to be onsite in Annapolis Junction a few days per week)

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$126,000 - $140,000
