We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Delta, CO location. This role will play a vital part in helping patients reach their maximum performance level and live independently within their capabilities.
About the Role:
In this role, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to carry out treatment plans. You will provide diagnostic evaluations and administer treatments to assigned patients, including exercises to improve strength, range of motion, and fine-motor coordination. Additionally, you will instruct patients in adapted techniques and the use of adaptive equipment for daily living skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide consultation on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and patient positioning
• Administer and evaluate patients according to departmental standards and procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports
• Design and implement treatment programs to increase patients' levels of functioning
• Participate in home assessments and provide therapy for neurological integration
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required
• Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required
• One year of experience preferred
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is approximately $27-$38 per hour, depending on experience.
