Job Summary:
As a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT), you will work directly with clients on the Autism spectrum, delivering essential services in their homes or schools, all under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction to enhance communication, daily living skills, social skills, and more.
Manage challenging behaviors effectively.
Support clients in various settings including home, school, and community.
Utilize creative strategies to keep clients engaged in learning.
Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members.
Collaborate with therapists, providers, and caregivers to implement effective programs.
Receive and apply feedback from supervisory staff.
Accurately collect and record client progress data.
Complete required trainings in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Maintain accurate records of scheduled appointments and adhere to billing policies.
Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
Travel to client locations as needed.
Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
1+ years of experience preferred.
Knowledge of general ABA practices.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a background check.
