We are seeking an experienced Project Estimator with a deep understanding of residential construction and remodeling to join Sunstate Remodeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing detailed and accurate estimates for kitchen, bathroom, and full home renovations. As part of our team, you'll work closely with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to create estimates, ensure accuracy, and maintain project budgets. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. This role offers significant growth potential and the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of our estimating processes.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Collaborate with the vice president to create and finalize project estimates.
Manage sales activities including lead follow-up, client consultations, and presenting proposals.
Build relationships with industry professionals like designers to explore new business opportunities.
Guide customers through the estimating process, offering expert advice and recommendations.
Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy in estimates and pricing.
Assist in standardizing supplier and subcontractor pricing to streamline the estimation process.
Capable of working remotely and self-educating on industry trends, building materials, and finishes.

Skills and Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge of industry pricing models and standards for remodeling projects.
Strong understanding of building materials and finishes used in residential remodels.
Proficiency with estimating software and CRM tools to standardize and improve bidding processes.
Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Familiarity with design software to create renderings and floor plans (preferred, but not required).

Requirements/Experience:

Valid Arizona Driver's License with a clean driving record (no moving violations in the past 3 years preferred).
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential remodeling and estimating.
Located in the East Valley, ideally within 5-10 miles of Chandler.

Schedule:

4-day work week, 10-hour shifts (flexible, depending on customer needs).
Normal work hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
40-hour weekly schedule.
