Responsibilities

Follow supervisor's assignments for opening and closing procedures, equipment set up and food production.
Prepare food and beverage products per recipe guidelines using proper preparation, cooking techniques and sanitation guidelines.
Safely and effectively clean and sanitize equipment according to procedures.
Keep workstation clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Two years of related experience preferred, willing to train.
Must be attentive and detailed oriented while working in a fast paced environment.
Ability to read and understand recipes and food abbreviations.
Requires basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and properly proportion foods.
Must follow procedures and take directions; work independently and in a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must work rapidly in a fast paced environment while coordinating multiple orders.
Able to stand for length of shift with frequent bending, lifting, reaching, stretching and grasping items.
Exposure to variable temperatures and kitchen dangers such as heat, burns, scalds, cuts, slips and falls.
Exposure to chemicals used to clean and sanitize work areas, equipment and surfaces.
