Job Title: Psychiatric Adolescent Nurse

Shift: 12-hour shift, assigned upon arrival; must be flexible to work other shifts as needed
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience
License: Current nursing license
Certifications: American Heart Association BLS; ACLS preferred
Must-Have: Active Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Crisis Prevention (CPI), MANDT, or TEAM certification
• Work in an inpatient adolescent psychiatric unit
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, predominantly day shifts
• Must be flexible to accommodate different shift requirements
• Responsible for patient care and supporting mental health treatment plans
• Ability to occasionally float to other departments and handle a patient load if qualified
• Perform task-oriented duties such as answering call lights and phones as needed
• Participate in a mandatory orientation held on Mondays
• Willingness to work holidays as required
Additional Information:
• Travelers are occasionally expected to be assigned charge roles without additional pay
• Orientation is conducted on Mondays only; compliance deadlines must be met to start on time
• Travelers will not have guaranteed hours during admission/discharge weeks or during unit closure cycle breaks
