Assembler and Dock Float
The


serves as a vital part of the production team. This role's primary function is to support the assembly team in producing high-quality units, but the Assembler and Dock Float will also serve as a

backup to the dock team

as needed. This dual-function role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
Job Duties:
Assembly & Production Support
Assist in unit assembly : Squaring units (like building a house) using ladders, clamps, and power drills.
Install components : Placement and securing of internal components and outer panels using power drills and caulk.
Roof Installation : Participate in roof installation, including the use of fall protection, welding, caulking, and power drills.
Hanging Doors & Quality Control : Hang unit doors, conduct final quality checks, and clean out the unit prior to final inspection.
Dock Support

Fill in as needed to support the dock team and ensure production goals are met.

Requirements
• Background in construction or carpentry preferred.
• Prior experience operating a forklift preferred.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools and ability to operate them safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read and interpret basic drawings, technical sheets, and procedural documents.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to safety standards and follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and responsible with a strong work ethic.
