• The Hostel Purchasing Officer will be responsible for the entire purchasing operations at their hostel following purchasing policies, systems, solutions and procedures in accordance with Company standards.- Making all daily orders for every department and every item that needs purchasing for the hostel and taking delivery of all purchases, quality control and maintaining strong connections with local suppliers.- Assist the Finance and Operational Departments in reporting Cost of Sales in the hostel, and keeping track on payment with suppliers.- Building strong relationships internally and with suppliers by ensuring Mad Monkey core values:

• Responsibilities
Implement sound purchasing policies, systems and procedures in accordance with Company standards.- Entering purchase order details into the reports, Purchasing all supplies, ensures timely and accurate payments against purchase orders to vendors.- Place orders with contracted vendors as per master supplier list.- Coordinate with the Finance and Operational Departments to pay monthly bills.- Monitor vendors for quality, service and price through standard purchasing specifications.- Update monthly quotation from all regular suppliers.- Receives market list from the Executive Chef or other department and arranges for delivery of those items.- Responsible for all purchasing functions, quotations, quality and availability.- Ensures that the suppliers follow the rules relating to the hygiene of goods delivered.- Keeps all records in a way that they can be checked at any time for information or audit purposes.- Maintains all documents, files and listings up-to-date and performs his/her duties in the most efficient manner.- Complete the daily F&B stock takes, FOC report, Daily purchase reports for Bar and Kitchen, and Monthly purchase report for all departments.- Support HOD and Finance to complete monthly inventory reports when required.- Other responsibilities as requested by the line manager.
