• Responsibilities
• - Be a voice of the customer and agents working to ensure the products we build solve a core unmet need, while exceeding their quality expectations to earn their trust
• Hands-on data-driven product development (understand the market, analyze the competition, empathize with your users through behavioural analytics)
• Ability to speak the language of business as fluently as the language of engineering, and engage internal stakeholders to surface problems and refine ideas, complementing that with data and research to guide product development.
• Define and own the company's product roadmap. Act as an Agile product owner to execute this roadmap, by continually prioritizing feature backlog to make sure we build the right stuff at the right time for the biggest business impact, trading off between tactical and strategic objectives.
• Follow through on new features and initiatives to see that they are operationalized well, and define appropriate metrics/ KPIs to measure product success that is ultimately tied back to the company's success.
• Requirements

As a startup, we consistently have to pick up new knowledge and skills, revisit our old assumptions and adjust to market realities. For example, none of the founding team had any prior experience in the insurance industry and we have had to learn how to run a corporate insurance brokerage from scratch. As such, we value the desire and ability to problem solve, learn, communicate and execute far more than any existing skill sets and prior experience.

Hence, while we will be evaluating you based on your product management experience, below are some key traits we look out for when determining if you will be a good fit for the company.

• A willingness and ability to work in a dynamic environment and be resilient in the face of challenges. As a startup, we will constantly face challenges and have limited resources to resolve them. It is therefore important to be able to prioritize, focus on problem solving and approach the problem in a thoughtful, thorough and logical fashion.
