For our production site (General Industry coatings/chemical) based at Minerbio (Bologna) we are actively looking for a Maintenance and Engineering Manager.
In this role you will report to the Plant Manager.The Maintenance and Engineering Manager is in charge of all the projects and the operations that are planned and/or executed, by the assigned team and/or by external contractors, to guarantee machinery and implants reliability, avoid unnecessary production stops, and ensure that all the industrial and non-industrial facility/implant of the building are in perfectly working conditions to serve production and general life inside the plant.

Degree in Engineering, ideally mechanical engineering or chemical engineering,ATEX/DSEAR knowledge/Experience is a must,Awareness of SEVESO/COMAH,Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation,Excellent interpersonal, influencing, coaching and negotiating skills - able to coordinate activities across multiple groups,A proven track record in managing change within a diverse environment.
Italiand and English,Hands on approach and attitude.Continuous improvement is a core value.Project management skills.
• Please be aware that you can apply for any internal job offer after minimum one year in current role having previously informed your manager.Please read the How to apply internally guidelines before handing in your application All internal employees when applying for a role are required to upload their updated C.V and their last 2 appraisals (which can be retrieved from HR Cloud).#LI-CK1The provision of safe equipment, safe working environment and ensuring all employees/contractors are provided with and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment.Ensure maintenance schedules, programs, quality initiatives, safety targets, efficiency metrics, and other operational measurements are met for the functions.Manage multiple groups of employees involved in the maintenance, capital improvement, and updating of equipment, machinery, and the location; Develop, analyze and review a variety of complex operational reports to examine equipment usage, preventative maintenance, efficiency, quality, and other areas; implements operational changes as required.
Oversees activities among various departments on a project basis, such as engineering, operations, safety, and quality control to monitor on-going and updated operations, processes, equipment, and related areas and implements operational adjustments.
Creates and maintains a culture of continuous improvement, quality, high performance, and process excellence.Leads budget development and spending control for the department within a site; prepares cost justifications and project requests for improvement projects.Drives the Engineering department to consistent and safe methods of work through Risk Assessments and procedures.Facility:
ensures that all the plant's issues related to facilities, implants, and accessories are properly addressed; keeps implants, services (e.g.
changing rooms, restrooms, break rooms), and accessories well preserved and well-functioning; intervenes with the Team to fix quick solvable facility related issues, and partners with external contractors to ensure the savviest and cost effective solutions on the market.Posting Date:
