Synergy Learning is looking for a Lead Consultant to manage our Consultancy Circle as they work on exciting innovation, proposition development and platform launch projects in the UK and beyond; helping to power progress for our customers as they implement and embed results-driven, technology-enabled learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Team leadership and strategy
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the Consultancy Circle, aligning with Synergy Learning's strategic goals.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, setting and executing Circle goals.
  • Model and encourage best practices within the team, focusing on customer satisfaction and productivity.
• Performance management and development
  • Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews, offering coaching and development.
  • Manage staffing and address skills gaps through targeted training, enhancing team effectiveness.
• Customer implementation oversight
  • Oversee platform implementation projects to ensure they meet project timelines and customer needs.
  • Maintain a hands-on role when needed, ensuring successful deployments and platform configurations for Moodle and Totara.
  • Act as a primary contact for customers during implementation, offering best-practice guidance and maintaining clear documentation.
• Customer project implementation
  • Lead discovery meetings to understand and align customer requirements with platform capabilities.
  • Independently or jointly implement platforms to meet/exceed customer needs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact, maintaining strong relationships and guiding best practices.
  • Provide value-added guidance, educating customers on process optimisation and platform use.
  • Document implementations, track enhancements, and address platform issues.
  • Stay actively engaged in personal development and performance improvement.
• Cross-circle collaboration
  • Work closely with Project Managers to manage workload, timelines, and cross-functional projects.
  • Coordinate with Customer Success, Sales, and Support teams, creating feedback loops to drive improvements.
  • Facilitate constructive communication to align Consultancy Circle activities with organisational goals.
• Product and partnership feedback
  • Share customer feedback with Product and Partnership circles, supporting informed development.
  • Champion innovation by encouraging bespoke solutions and integrations based on customer needs.
• Reporting and analysis
  • Track and report implementation metrics, customer feedback, and cross-functional collaboration outcomes.
  • Analyse data to inform strategic adjustments and anticipate evolving customer needs.
• Stakeholder engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, adapting strategies to meet their needs.
  • Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to support product and platform initiatives.
• Information management and knowledge sharing
  • Ensure accurate documentation of implementation processes and maintain best practices on knowledge-sharing platforms.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning within the Consultancy Circle.

Essential Criteria - You must have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing and motivating a team, ideally in a remote-first setting
• Hands-on experience in Moodle and/or Totara platform administration, configuration, or implementation.
• The right to live and work and be resident in the UK or Ireland

Valuable Experience - We would love you to have:

• Experience within the eLearning sector
• Experience of using JIRA and Asana
• Project management experience

• Excellent organisational skills for documenting project progress, tracking enhancements, and addressing platform issues.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to set clear expectations and guide customers on platform use.
• The ability to thrive in a multitasking, remote-first environment, dedicated to continuous learning, professional development, and meeting deadlines.
