Up to £45,000 + Bonus We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join a globally renowned FMCG company, where you will play a vital role in supporting financial reporting and statutory compliance.
This position is key to ensuring accuracy in financial data and the timely completion of month-end and year-end closings.Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.Key Responsibilities:
Support the Statutory Supervisor with daily financial tasks, including posting journals and general ledger reconciliation's, ensuring adherence to monthly reporting schedules.Conduct inter-company reconciliation's and collaborate with Shared Services and administrative teams across the Group to resolve discrepancies.Assist in external audit preparation, contributing to smooth interim and annual audit processes.Partner with third-party logistics providers to address stock issues, contributing to efficient inventory management.Support the accurate reporting of leasing contracts and assist with IFRS 16 compliance.
Key Requirements:
Experience with Hyperion Financial Management, ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualified or actively studying.Proficient in SAP and advanced MS Office, with a proactive and collaborative approach.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
