Your role ​
Capgemini engineering looking for SDN developer to work with our dynamic team with strong background in data modeling, network management protocols, and programming, with excellent Linux and problem-solving abilities.
You will be responsible for working with software-defined networking (SDN) and Understanding of NSO, SDN, basic L2-L3 networking concepts.

Your skills and experience
Data modelling – YANG, JSON, REST, YAML, Netconf
Programming – Python
Database - Redis, MongoDB, PSQL
Streaming & Messaging - KAFKA & RabbitMQ
DevOps – Git/Github, Jenkins, Azure pipelines.
Automation & testing – Robot, Ansible, Postman
Cloud-Native – Docker, Kubernetes (working knowledge).
Worked in Agile projects (understand Agile mode, DevOps practices, SDLC process).
Past experience working with a workflow engine would be an added plus.
Excellent Linux skills.
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, problem solving skills.
Domain – Understanding of NSO, SDN, basic L2-L3 networking concepts.
Understanding of network Services – IPACCESS/ IPTRANSIT/ EVPN is a plus.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.​

There are other criteria and checks required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
