What will your role look like?
We are seeking a strategic, mission-driven, and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our team.
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and coordinating the development of an Algorithmic Audit Platform, an automated, scalable audit solution that incorporates human intervention at crucial times to ensure fair, accountable outcomes.
In your day-to-day, you will liaise between the product department, Eticas' management, and our clients.
Your key responsibilities:
Roadmap Definition and Strategy:
- Manage and communicate the product roadmap internally and externally, keeping all teams aligned on short-term and long-term goals.
• Communicate product features and developments to sales prospects and customers, helping bridge gaps between technical features and customer needs.
Market Feedback:
- Generate feedback from the market, clients, management, and competitors to ensure the product is heading in the right direction.
• Participate in sales calls and liaise directly with clients to gather their feedback and translate it into actionable insights.
• Act as the team's repository of knowledge on market needs and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team, attend relevant meetings, and conferences to stay up to date with market trends.
Software Design and Usability:
- Design software by mapping out wireframes and proposing new features based on user-friendly design principles and data.
• Ensure a balance of functionality and usability by providing engineers with clear and detailed directions.
• Use data and market feedback to justify and refine design decisions, ensuring high usability and product-market fit.
• Be the point of contact for technical teams, providing leadership to manage the project, triage bugs, and maintain a high level of product quality.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and scale the product team, hiring the right talent and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Encourage innovation by staying up to date with advancements in ethical technology and sharing that passion with the team.
• Establish a product-oriented culture that combines strategic thinking with detail-oriented execution.
Entrepreneurial Vision and Strategic Thinking:
- Leverage your entrepreneurial mindset to evaluate risks, identify opportunities, and ensure the product roadmap aligns with the company's vision and market demand.
• Identify market opportunities and make informed decisions that support the company's growth and align with its strategic goals.
• Anticipate customer needs and drive innovation within the product, enabling the company to stay ahead of the competition.
• Share the company's passion for ethical technology.
Stay up to date with the latest advancements and foster a culture of innovation within the organization.
Requirements Must-have skills:
Fluency in English (fluent Spanish is a plus) At least 5 years in technical product management with a leadership role Project Management, strategic planning, and/or team leadership experience, ideally in a tech start-up environment or a rapid-growth company.
Proven experience hiring, scaling and leading high-performance teams whilst retaining and growing careers within the team.
In-depth engineering and interface knowledge, experienced in developing data-led products, using AI/ML, with a strong background in SaaS solutions.
Frontline customer service experience and excellent communication skills A strong market and product understanding with an entrepreneurial mindset You are highly analytical, have data-backed opinions, and are not afraid of research.
And some nice-to-haves:
Have worked with socio-technical teams and understand what algorithmic bias is and how to audit for fairness.
Have a Privacy Concern:
you challenge Data Laws, and you are concerned about the importance of Data.
Experience working in remote and cloud-based environments.
A proactive mindset to execute your own ideas without the need for large investments in validation.
Being open and collaborative.
Taking and giving constructive feedback and being always eager to share an idea or suggestion.
Ability to establish relationships based on respect, trust, and consistency.

This is a full-time position with an annual gross salary €65.000-€72.000 commensurate with experience.
