In this role, you will manage the operational activities of manufacturing projects with overall responsibility for manufacturing execution with regard to safety, quality and on-time-in full delivery.
You will lead an interdisciplinary team of production leaders, supervisors and specialists and you will be accountable for the performance and results of the assigned projects including cost control.Key responsibilities:
Schedule, supervise and document manufacturing activities according to cGMP guidelinesAct as manufacturing expert in a multi-disciplinary project team to supervise and deliver projects which range from tech transfer to clinical production stageDrive continuous improvement in the production area for quality, cost, efficiency and safety taking the established operational excellence methods into accountRepresent Lonza manufacturing unit during customer audits and visitsKey requirements:
PhD or Master degree in biotechnology / bioinformatic / chemical engineering or related fieldStrong leadership skillsWorking experience in a GMP environment would be an advantageFluency in English and GermanStrong communication and collaboration skillsEvery day, Lonza's products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
