Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cosmetic Tattoo/Permanent Make-up Artist/Technician to join our new and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a true appreciation for the beauty/make-up industry, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. As a Cosmetic Tattoo Artist, you will work closely with clients of all ages (19-75+) to design and execute their desired service (nano-brows, powder brows, eyeliner, lip blushing, scalp micropigmentation/SMP, tiny tattoos) to reflect their individual styles and preferences.

Duties

Set-up and tear-down the tattoo station using the utmost in sanitizing techniques and practices.
Consult with clients to understand their vision and goals for their cosmetic tattoo/permanent make-up.
Tailor their chosen service to meet each client's vision while managing realistic expectations.
Execute tattoo work with precision while adhering to safety protocols.
Provide aftercare instructions to clients for optimal healing and results.
Maintain excellent customer service throughout the tattooing process, ensuring a comfortable experience for clients.
Upsell additional services or products when appropriate, enhancing the overall client experience.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices.

Skills

Strong intra-personal skills with an eye for detail and trends.
Excellent communication abilities to effectively engage with clients in order to nail their beauty goals.
Proven customer service experience in a hospitality or guest services environment.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to tattooing.
Familiarity with related beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair styling, body waxing, and product demos is a plus.
Ability to upsell other offered services while maintaining a positive client relationship.
A passion for making people look and feel their best and a commitment to continuous learning in the art of cosmetic tattooing/permanent make-up.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.38-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
