Led by the CEO, the team is building an innovative nature & biodiversity data platform for commercial real estate.
Our platform empowers our customers to analyze, report, and mitigate their impact on nature across their portfolios.To accelerate our growth, we are seeking a Product Owner with a proven ability to translate complex business challenges into precise, actionable technical requirements.
Reporting to the Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product backlogs, writing detailed user stories, and ensuring technical specifications are clearly aligned with business objectives.
Your expertise will be crucial in refining our requirements management process, bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution to drive successful product development.ResponsibilitiesLead and facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Maintain and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with business goals and product strategy.Write clear, concise, and detailed user stories with defined acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.Work directly with engineers to clarify requirements, answer questions, and provide ongoing support throughout the development cycle.Make tactical decisions regarding feature scope and trade-offs to meet delivery timelines and business objectives.Gather and analyze product usage metrics and performance data.Act as point of contact between product management, design, and engineering.Take full ownership of feature delivery, ensuring products meet quality standards and business objectives pre and post-launch.Regularly update product leadership on progress, risks, and key milestones.Write and distribute release notes and feature announcements.Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base, including FAQs, user guides, and technical documentation.Identify and address gaps in existing product documentation.Experiences and skills requiredProven experience in developing and launching successful B2B SaaS products, preferably from 0 to 1.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading Agile ceremonies.Proven ability to write clear, concise, and well-structured user stories and documentation (e.g., PRDs).Experience using Jira or similar tools for product backlog management and sprint planning.Experience working closely with designers to ensure alignment between product requirements and user experience standards.Ability to work effectively and autonomously in a dynamic early-stage startup environment with evolving priorities.Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).BenefitsAn attractive salaryGenerous and flexible PTO policy (minimum of 4 weeks per year)Comprehensive health insurance benefits from Day 1Work for a company that is at the forefront of the ESG movement, driving change and positive impact in urban landscapesFlexible working optionsRegular company events to gather, connect, and have fun with peersAlvéole's impact-driven Culture is centered around its values:
