Le contremaitre à l'emballage et à l'expédition est responsable de la planification et de la coordination des activités reliées au contrôle de la qualité du produit fini, à l'assemblage du métal au bois, au type d'emballage selon la destination, au choix du transporteur et à l'expédition de la marchandise destinée aux clients.
Le contremaitre aura aussi sous sa responsabilité une équipe constituée de 3 employés. Il sera responsable de la productivité du département, du rendement individuel, de la gestion de la SST et des politiques de l'entreprise.
Il collabora étroitement avec le superviseur d'usine, ainsi qu'avec les autres membres de la Direction.
Plus concrètement, le titulaire du poste aura à :
Planifier et gérer les activités d'emballage, d'entreposage et d'expédition selon les dates du calendrier de livraison ;
Fournir au personnel des consignes claires relativement aux priorités ;
Assister les employés dans l'exécution de leurs tâches ;
Optimiser l'utilisation de l'espace en production, s'assurer de l'ordre et de la propreté des lieux de travail ;
Compléter les bons de transport ;
Emballer, charger et expédier la marchandise ;
Évaluer et proposer des améliorations aux méthodes de travail ;
Planifier les besoins quotidiens de main-d'œuvre de son département ;
Responsable de la qualité des produits finis ;
Gérer les transports ;
Assurer une saine gestion du département, tant au niveau SST qu'au niveau de l'ambiance de travail.

Dynamique et axé sur les résultats ;
Expérience pertinente dans un poste similaire exigée ;
Expérience en milieu manufacturier requise ;
Adorer les produits du bois et les projets architecturaux ;
Orienter vers la qualité et l'innovation ;
Aimer coordonner le travail et la supervision d'équipe.
