Overview:
The Estimator provides cost-estimating support to ensure effective project decision-making, focusing on cost, schedule, and risk mitigation for successful delivery. This is a 3-year contract role that will begin in Spring 2025. Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project scope. Conduct earned value analysis and align costs with project schedules. Perform field visits to validate estimates. Support cost analysis by identifying and explaining variances. Update estimates as projects progress. Develop and maintain estimating templates and best practices. Participate in post-mortem reviews to improve future estimates. Support specific projects, including:
• Auxiliary Boiler Replacement
• Emergency Power Replacements
• Service Transformer Protection Replacement
• Large Motor Replacements
• Steam Generator Inspections
• Reactor Maintenance and Fuel Handling
• Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrades
• Standby Generator Overhauls
• Maintenance Program Management

Degree in Engineering OR Engineering Technologist diploma. 5+ years' experience in cost estimating for capital construction projects. Proficiency with estimating tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint). Key Skills:

Strong verbal and written skills; bilingualism (English/French) is an asset. Leadership:
