Your ContributionAs a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will work in collaboration with all Englobe teams.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules;Manage multiple projects of various sizes from start to finish;Coordinate, supervise and perform field and office responsibilities;Manage and/or generate deliverable documentation of various projects including geotechnical reports, permits, health and safety plans, traffic control plans, and other required project documentation;Prepare proposals and qualification packages;Consistently execute prescribed technical procedures and work plans;Provide and support in planning, scheduling, and executing all facets of projects;Participate in project management meetings, office meetings, health, and safety inspections;Actively market the company's products and services to new and existing clients through business development initiatives;Flexibility and adaptability to scheduling changes and occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work;Travel between worksites as required;Maintain a commitment to exceeding client expectations by consistently delivering high-quality work;Consistently maintain professionalism and objectivity while working with colleagues and clients who require varying degrees of support;Handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy to maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts;Conduct project administration tasks as required, including timesheet generation and project invoicing;Other duties as assigned.
Your ProfileUniversity Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field, or College Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering Management or related field;P.

Tech designation required;Minimum of 3-5 years post-designation experience is preferred;Minimum of 5 years experience required;Experience and knowledge with Geotechnical drilling, settlement analyses, slope stability assessments, and civil construction would be an asset;Experience writing proposals, specifications, case studies, technical and non-technical reports;Ability to work overtime hours as required to satisfy client demands during peak periods;Previous experience in an engineering environment an asset;Superior document management experience;Excellent English language skills, oral and written;Excellent soft skills and ability to work with clients;Superior communication skills;Superior time management skills;Superior knowledge of Microsoft Office;Strong organizational and multitasking skills;Valid driver's license and access to personal vehicle.
