Reviewing and providing feedback to Officers with regards to Investigations and Inspection to best administer and enforce the Safety Act and Regulations.Ability to create professional relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to create strong working relationships with other jurisdictional regulatory committees.Collaboration between the Iqaluit and Yellowknife offices focusing on common practices.Manage the financial budget for the Iqaluit office.Ensure goals are set and maintained to meet corporate Strategic Plan.What you bring to the role:
Occupational Health and Safety Degree or certification from a recognized institution.Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation.Minimum five (5) years of progressive related industrial experience.Minimum three (3) years recent progressive management experience at a senior level.Valid class 5 driver's license is required.Ability to analyze data and determine the correct path forward.Excellent communication skills both oral and written.Ability to analyze research and interpret legislation and standards as they apply to various industries and work practices.What we offer:
