The company's Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies.
Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, our Client's industry leading plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower cost.
They are seeking an experienced Engineering Director , whom is adept at utilizing resources not always under direct control to make improvements to established designs, optimize operating liquefaction cycles, improve business results, and does not shy away from hands-on work.
Minimum experience starts with over fifteen years of progressive accomplishments in the natural gas processing, liquefaction, and/or cryogenic processing areas, to work directly with our SVP, Engineering.
Both corporate and field experience is highly desired, including at least one stint in a start-up and commissioning, or early field operations, environment - along with exposure to design engineering.
Exposure to Project Economic justification and business trade-offs to optimize returns to shareholders is also desired.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for directing the engineering support for the terminal, including Process engineering, Integrity Engineering, Controls Engineering and Electrical EngineeringOversees design and execution of future projects to increase levels of production, improve maintenance troubleshooting, decrease production interruptions and improve maintenance productivityDirects the activities and approves all actions to maintain and enhance the plant's equipment and facilities including engineering techniques to affect improvements in equipment reliability and corrosion controlAssures through subordinate positions that maintenance planning, scheduling, long-term maintenance certification and inspection activities including condition monitoring and major overhauls are enactedCoordinates with internal and external engineering in all operational projects and new developments, from conception to completion in line with budgets and on time schedulingAssures through subordinate positions that budgets and schedules to meet financial targets are abidedAssures through subordinate positions that the terminal's predictive maintenance program for equipment are maintained and kept up to dateEngineering technical authorityIssues weekly site engineering reportWeekly coordination meetingManages weekly team meetings and maintains action registerFERC engineering site contactSigns off on PSSRManages completion of PHMSA IA technical inputQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EngineeringMinimum of ten years combined maintenance and plant engineering experience in LNG Plant and/or petrochemical/gas including a minimum of three years engineering supervisory experienceExperience in LNG liquefaction facilities highly preferredFERC experience a mustDemonstrated experience in the Implementation or supervision of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Broad knowledge of budgeting, planning, schedulingHigh level of HSE knowledgeSuperior personnel management, interpersonal skills, communications & organizational skillsBenefits:
