Business Development ManagerAbout this Role:
We are hiring on behalf of our Calgary based client for a Business Development Manager with 5+ years of experience in civil construction.
Our client has been around for 40+ years and has projects focused in civil construction.
With their headquarters in BC, they are entering a phase of exciting growth and expanding throughout Canada.As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and identifying business opportunities.
You will be generating leads and dealing with current and potential clients and stakeholders.

Research and identify potential markets, projects, and clientsDevelop strategies to secure new contracts and partnershipsBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholdersAct as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedbackCollaborate with estimators, engineers, and project managers to prepare competitive bidsDevelop detailed proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and project scopesWork closely with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution post-salePerform other related duties as requiredQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is preferred4+ years experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar roleExperience in civil construction experience is a mustAbility to work collaboratively with a positive attitudeStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travelWhat We Can Offer You:
Salary range:
