Conduct bids and requests for proposals, including the drafting of bid documents, coordination of submissions, and analysis of responses.Maintain bid files, schedules, and related recordkeeping duties.Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and operations, to review RFQ proposals that meet customer requirements.Follow up on RFQs as needed and communicate feedback regarding competitive rates to support the closure of all business opportunities.Work closely with Account Managers to develop plans for RFQs and perform pre- and post-opportunity assessments.Essential RequirementsThe essential requirements of the job include:
Previous experience as a tender and contract specialist, ideally in the health industry (public/private bids).Previous experience in Sales and Distribution SAP module, Sales Force, and Order Management.Strong verbal and written communication skills in Portuguese and English.Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail, with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively.Flexibility to work across various projects and cross-functional teams, with the ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.Occasional travel to customer sites may be required to understand the customer buying journey and for document clarification/pre-bid meetings.Cepheid, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
