IT Applications Specialist

Roles and ResponsibilitiesAs a Specialist, IT - Applications, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all resort software systems for Atlantis Dubai.
You will support Assistant Managers with the following responsibilities:
Troubleshooting application and in-room technology issuesEscalating issues to vendors for supportDocumenting knowledge base articles for troubleshooting and configurationApplication upgradesProject tasks and events setupAbout YouIdeally, we would like you to have a Diploma in Computer Science or similar, with an understanding of IT processes and administrative tasks.
Strong knowledge and practical experience of application support across hospitality solutions and integrations is essential.
You should have:
Experience in network switching and routingMonitoring, configuring, and networking cable managementStrong communication skillsThe ability to prioritize and manage multiple workloads as well as last-minute requestsOther Desirable Skills/QualificationsStrong technical skills with the ability to troubleshootAbility to work well in a team and independentlyExperience using Opera and SimphonyExperience supporting guests within room technologyITIL or CoBIT certification is an advantageThorough understanding of IT security concepts and principlesExperience with Ethernet networking, LAN/WAN network technologies, the OSI model, TCP/IP, switching, routing, Wi-Fi, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLANsDesired Candidate ProfileProductivity Applications:
