They are putting together the core members of their team and are looking to hire a HR & Procurement Manager.Position Overview:
The Human Resources and Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's operations by managing both human capital and procurement functions.
This dual-role position requires a strategic, results-driven individual with a strong understanding of HR practices and procurement processes.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals, while optimizing procurement operations to ensure cost-effective and ethical sourcing of goods and services.Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management:
Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the organization's business objectives and values.Ensure that HR policies and initiatives support company growth and foster a high-performance culture.Recruitment & Onboarding:
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes to attract and retain top talent.Oversee talent acquisition strategies, ensuring alignment with business needs and growth plans.Employee Performance Management:
Manage performance appraisal systems, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and create employee training and development programs.Ensure continuous feedback and development opportunities for employees.Employee Relations & Engagement:
Foster a positive work culture by implementing employee engagement initiatives.Handle conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and transparent manner.Compliance & Labor Laws:
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment standards, and internal company policies.Stay up-to-date with legal requirements and ensure the organization adheres to them.Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave records management in collaboration with the finance team.Manage compensation structures to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.Procurement Management:
Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Oversee the end-to-end procurement cycle, from planning to delivery.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality products and services at competitive prices.Conduct market research to understand trends, pricing, and supplier benchmarks.Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the organization's requirements and standards.Monitor vendor performance and resolve any issues that arise.Inventory & Budget Management:
Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and assist in budget management.Monitoring & Reporting:
Ensure procurement activities are aligned with budgets and timelines.Monitor procurement activities and report on performance, savings, and improvements.Requirements:
Mandatory Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
A Master's degree or certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, CIPS) is a plus.Experience:
5-10 years of experience in HR management and procurement, with proven leadership experience.Skills:
Strong knowledge of labor laws and procurement regulations.Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.Proficiency in HRMS and procurement software.Analytical mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a related field.Additional certifications in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) or Procurement (e.g., CIPS).Strong track record in HR management and procurement, with significant experience in managing both functions.Full-time position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.The role may require occasional travel for procurement and HR-related activities.
