Card 17 / 34: 11 yr old FS DLH cat presenting for weight loss with great appetite and PU/PD. On PE, she has a BCS of 3/9 and an unkept hair coat. She also has a slightly elevated temp of 102.8F. A fundo scope exam did show petechiations both eyes. A biochem panel shows serum glucose elevated at 280( normal is 140) but the urinalysis was neg for glucose. Radiographs did not have any significant findings. This cat is hyperglycemia with no glycosuria. What diagnostic test would help determine if the cat is stress hyperglycemia or diabetes mellitus?
