Card 18 / 34: 11 yr old FS DLH cat presenting for weight loss with great appetite and PU/PD. This cat is FeLV and FIV neg. On PE, she has a BCS of 3/9 and an unkept hair coat. She also has a slightly elevated temp of 102.8F. A fundo scope exam did show petechiations both eyes. A biochem panel shows serum glucose elevated at 280( normal is 140) but the urinalysis was neg for glucose. Also on the BioChem are elevated ALT 270 (normal 140) ; ALP 90 (normal 80) ; and CK 480 (normal 355). Radiographs did not have any significant findings. What is the most logical explanation for the petechiations ?
