8 yr old MC boxer presented for losing hair on both sides last few months, gaining weight even with good appetite, drinking water excessively (+100 ml/kg/day). Owner has the dog on a cheap ear flush medication he found on the internet to help with dogs chronic ear problems over the last few weeks. PE : BCS 7/9 (obese) temp/HR are normal. BioChem panel : increased glucose 135 (normal 115) ,cholesterol 419 (normal300) and ALP 2520 (normal 140). You schedule an ACTH stim test for next week.
