Once you have answered all the questions, answer them again using the simulation to help you. This time you will getfeedback about each individual answer.

This demonstration does not have questions associated with it. Use it to improve your understanding of what scatter plotsof data with different values of r lool like.
This demonstration allows you to learn about Pearson's correlation by viewing scatter plots with different values ofPearson's r. In each case, you will have an opportunity to guess the correlation. With a little practice, you should getpretty good at it.
Show Questions
Click the button next to the correlation that you think is present in the scatter plot. You will find out if you wereright or wrong. If you were wrong, try another value. Then click the "New data" button.
After looking at a series of scatterplots, you should have a pretty good feel for what a certain value of r means.
