Program Title: Kagan Cooperative Learning Workshop

Program Description:
Kagan provides 1, 2, and 5-day workshops on a variety of topics. Their cooperative learning techniques are highly respected and very practical. The school fully funded the tuition for the 5-day workshop. I participated in this workshop at the suggestion of my department chair after my 2 nd year of teaching. I came away with the tools to confidently implement a variety of cooperative learning strategies.
Rationale:
After reflecting on my own teaching experience, my department chair helped me to see that cooperative learning could strengthen my practice.
