    Instructors weave modules into courses

  • a course is a guided tour through the pool of modules
  • Course Composer functionalities:
    • search and preview appropriate modules
    • incorporate modules into a course path
    • re-order course path
    • group modules into "chapters"
    • add course-specific "implicit" links
    • export course path as an Resource Description Framework (RDF) file (metadata standard)

    Course path is multipurpose

  • navigational tools and Roadmap display course path (look to the left to the "course view")
  • modules in course path easily fused into a pdf file for printing as a custom textbook (by student, instructor, university, or Kinkos , for example)

  • course-specific annotations
  • segues
  • side branches off course path
