AAL
Attorney Ad Litem. The AAL is appointed by the court to represent children or absent adults. The AAL owes the represented party the duties of undivided loyalty, confidentiality, and competent representation. See sections 107.001(2), 107.003, 107.004, 107.0045, and 107.010 of the Texas Family Code.
