As a Senior Lecturer, you will mainly be involved in teaching on the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Theatre, Film and Media Studies.
Your main task will be to teach courses in the entire field of Theatre studies to the extent of 10 hours per week.The position is a temporary replacement for the period 1.3.2025 - 28.2.2026.The ongoing reception of the current state of research as well as further didactic training and taking on research tasks are expected.
In addition, taking on administrative activities, especially in the administration of teaching, is part of the job description.The Vienna Institute for Theater, Film and Media Studies, the only one of its kind in Austria, is the largest university institute of its kind in the German-speaking world.
At a productive distance from conventional theater and media practice, the institute is above all a place of theoretical debate, but also an interface between academia and artistic practice.Your future tasks:
