JOB TITLE:

AM Food Service Dish Room Attendant - Athletic Training Table

JOB PURPOSE:

Perform a variety of routine tasks required in the operation of a food service facility; clean and maintain a designated area; assist in the preparation of food; and work under direct supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Load and operate dish or pot washing machines and hand wash items unable to clean in machines as a primary job function; other positions may assist in these areas.

* Clean and maintain dish washing equipment, such as dishwashers, sinks, and drains, ensuring they are in proper working condition.

* Follow cleaning schedules for equipment maintenance and ensure regular cleaning tasks are completed.

* Empty and maintain trash and recycling bins, disposing of waste properly and efficiently.

* Clean designated food service area(s).

* Assist in general cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Diploma or GED

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Food service sanitation techniques and regulations.

* Food service set-up and preparation techniques and requirements.

* Cleaning procedures.

* Effective personal hygiene.

* Food Service machinery operation.

REQUIRED MATERIALS:
