Assistant Director of Nursing- Laramie Wyoming

Hiring\Retention bonus of $7,000 (paid out when employment requirements are met)

Responsibilities

Assist DON in oversight and responsibility for daily operations of our clinical department.
Hiring, training, and development of staff in conjunction with your leadership team
Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services to accurately assess, communicate and document resident status on electronic care system
Assist in oversight of aides and nurses and other care staff. delegation of nurse duties to unlicensed personnel as needed
Other leadership duties as needed
On Call

Qualifications

Current RN Nursing license in the State.
Experience in skilled nursing, Geriatric Nursing or Gerontology and/or Dementia Care
Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
Knowledge of how to develop and utilize service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures
Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to residents
