Senior IT Architect - Remote

Summary

This position provides architecture support for one large project or a few small to mid-sized projects.

The Sr. Architect is responsible for supporting strategic solutions and architectures that fulfill specific business and technology outcomes. Solutions include projects, products, systems (including applications, technologies, processes, and information), shared infrastructure services and shared application services. The Architect performs the necessary analysis and design tasks that support the development of solutions to ensure solutions meet business needs and align with architecture governance and standards. This position creates deliverables for managing the 'to be' and 'as is' architecture intent for the assigned area.

• Engage key stakeholders to identify business and technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enable and drive business outcomes through Business Process Mapping

• Cross-Functional Team Leadership and Business Development & Strategy

• Team Leadership and Business Development & Strategy

• Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and document all architecture design and analysis work

• Research and provide information related to the adoption of emerging technology trends, disruptions, and practices relevant to assigned domain

• Engage key stakeholders to identify business and technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enable and drive business outcomes

• Experience working with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA and/or PCI)

• Previous experience in PBM / health care industry

• Previous experience working an in Agile/Product Delivery model

• Experience with software development life cycle and project management principles

• Experience in basic office productivity software and tools (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.)

• Demonstrated experience in eliciting requirements using a variety of techniques

• Demonstrated experience in specifying and modeling requirements

Responsibilities

• 2+ years of related experience including a minimum of 1 year designing, building and maintaining high quality, security software in IT or can use relevant business experience.

• High proficiency in modern technologies and languages, development patterns, data modeling, cloud/PaaS, and application integration technologies.

• Critical Thinker.

• Problem Solving Techniques.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in health care or insurance industries.

• AWS Certification or Exposure (Architect, Sysops, Developer)

• Service Now experience.

Potential pay for this position ranges from $87,280.00 - $148,380.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
