Searing Industries is privately owned family major manufacturing company located in Rancho Cucamonga with a second location in Cheyenne Wyoming established over 40 years ago. Searing Industries produces all sizes of round, square, and rectangular tubing. With the growing demand in the Cheyenne location, Searing Industries is looking for individuals that want to grow their careers in the steel business and live in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Looking for an Electrician Apprentice to join our team that has good work ethical, communication and ability to learn and full the duties and responsibilities.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Proactively identify equipment in need of repair and aim to efficiently complete the work.

Troubleshoot and repair 4-20mA and 1220 to 460 VAC, electrical equipment and instrumentation.

Facilitate timely execution and effectiveness of preventative maintenance program

Plan repairs utilizing blueprints, equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics

Utilize Maintenance Management Software to its fullest extent

Accomplish scheduled work in an effective and timely manner

Able to temporarily repair equipment when parts not available

Follow company policies and safety standards

Candidate will be trained to become competent to assist operations as needed

Available and Flexible to work 6 days weekly and 10-12 hours per day

Keep work place clean and organized

Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and certifications:

Highschool diploma or equivalent experience

Three (3) years' experience working with a variety of machinery in an industrial work environment

Ability to operate forklifts or other powered industrial equipment

Pay & Incentives: Full Time Starting at $18.00 & up per hour. Full benefits after 60 days which include Health, dental. Vision & life insurance for you and your immediate family. Annual bonuses based off of company profits and shop drawings for prizes and money throughout the year for excellence.

Shifts are Monday thru Friday and most Saturdays, Day shifts only. Full time is roughly 60 to 70 hours a week, 6 days a week.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 starting

Shifts: 10 - 12 Hour Shifts

Week Days & Day Shifts

Monday Friday & most Saturdays

Requirements:

Weekend availability

We are a drug free work environment must pass drug test.

Relocation to Cheyenne Wyoming: we supply discounted apartments owned by the company for our employees and families who relocate to our Cheyenne facility. These apartments are newly remodeled, clean, and only available to Searing Industries employees to rent there.

Ability to read, write, and basic math

Team player, willing to work with others, long days, and Saturdays.

Ability to lift 20-50 lbs.

Ability to reach (including above the head) bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel for jobs needed

Pass a health evaluation

Familiarity with basic hand tools and equipment

Some warehouse experience

Good communication and team work abilities
