Description
Peri-operative RN will function primarily as a circulator but may be used as a scrub with adequate training. The peri-operative RN provides patient care before, during and after procedure. They have specific surgical experience whose primary job is to function as part of a team, giving guidance to the team while being a patient advocate.
RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS
Degree from accredited nursing program.
Current Wyoming RN License.
PALS or ENPC and ACLS or successful completion within 3 months of hire date.
1 year OR experience preference for experience with Orthopedics and spine.
LICENSE/REGISTRATION/ CERTIFICATION:
Work requires an advanced level of knowledge and clinical competencies typically acquired through the completion of advance education and training; and current RN permit or licensure issued by the Board of Nurse Examiners of the State of Wyoming to practice professional nursing.
RNs are supported in obtaining certification in their specialty area.
