Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Oncology
Job Duration: 13 weeks, with possible extension
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) on weekdays and every other weekend
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; travel experience not required
License: Current RN license, WV or Compact; pending license acceptable
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; ONS chemo/bio certification preferred
Must-Have:
• Ability to start IVs
• 1.5-2+ years of experience
• Perm address greater than 100 miles from the facility
• Work in the 5N Oncology unit with an emphasis on chemotherapy.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6.
• Complete both 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, including every other weekend.
• Blocks scheduling possible; discussion required during the interview.
• Compliance with facility attendance standards: maximum of 2-3 call-offs per contract.
• Prepare for orientation involving 16 hours of non-billable training and module completion.
• Flu vaccine required unless a medical exemption is provided.
• Submit a complete application packet, including references and certifications.
