Preparesmeals for patients, staff, visitors and special functions. Responsible for sanitation of kitchen area and equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements described here are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed by people assigned to this position. 1. Responsible for preparation and presentation of foods for patients, visitors, and employees.

2. Responsible for cleaning and proper use of equipment.

3. Assists in preparing, delivering, and retrieving special functions and coffee requests.

4. Attends all required safety training programs and can describe responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job-related hazards.

5. Coordinates standards of quality food handling with proper sanitation standards.

6. Communicates with patients and clinical staff in a professional manner.

7. Prepares meals, distributes trays to patients, collects and cleans meal trays.

3. Ability to perform basic record keeping.
