Job Summary MUSC Health Charleston is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment.
This is a great opportunity to work with a talented team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including PET/CT scanners and gamma cameras.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients, ensuring accurate dosing and safety protocols.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) certification.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Schedule This is a 5x8 hour position, Monday through Friday, with no holidays.
You may be required to work 1 or 2 Saturdays per month, depending on unit needs.
