We are looking for an experienced and reliable Project Manager with Industrial Pipe Experience to join the United team. The Project Manager is responsible for the building, execution and oversight of the project plan while staying within scope, on schedule and on budget. The Project Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining successful client relationships, managing project resources, and exceeding safety and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

During preconstruction and project planning, understand project scope and requirements needed to execute the project and build the plan for project execution.
Establish Project Governance Structure. Establish roles and responsibilities for the project team.
Determine Project Methodology and Practices and how the project tasks will be structured for completion.
Plan Project work with project team. Set and provide direction on a daily basis throughout project lifecycle.
Perform Integrated change control. Execute changes and integrate them into the process and schedule.
Develop and Employ Risk Response Plans as needed to mitigate financial and schedule impacts.
Develop and employ plan to close out of project. Ensure documentation is turned in, turnover of internal resources and follow up on punch list items.
Communicate and build successful relationships with clients. Ensure timely understanding of client needs: variances and missed scope in order to gain alignment of project scope with client.
Analyze and develop Communication Management Plan to cover scope, schedule, cost, resources, points of contact and material delivery updates.
Negotiate pricing on out-of-scope items, change orders, etc. with the client as they arise.
Provide documentation submittals, MTRs, safety sheets, design documents to the client. Oversee documentation and ensure it is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Negotiate and execute contract terms with vendors in partnership with procurement manager.
Negotiate and execute contract terms with subcontractors in alignment with the delegation of authority.
Ensure craft worker requirements are identified and sourced as needed for the project.
Resolve employee issues and update employee status to craft resource director as needed.
Ensure productivity goals are met or exceeded as work is executed under guidance of superintendent and/or foreman.
Track and Analyze Project Progress with Project Controls Department by providing timely cost and scheduling updates.
Review job cost, cash flow, known issues, project timeline with senior management.
Review Project quality requirements with QA/QC Director during kick off meeting and as needed. Regularly review Project compliance with specifications and regulations with QA/QC Director.
Focused on safety from project start to finish. Communicate this to the entire project team on a daily basis.
Supports the United Group Services team by performing additional duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years as PM or similar role.
Extensive working knowledge of Industrial piping projects.
Ability to communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals.
Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (engineers, contractors, client's representatives, etc.).
Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications and MS Project.
PMP a plus.
Position requires work at the jobsite location with up to 70% travel time.

8 to 10-hour shift/ Day shift
Monday to Friday/ weekends as needed.
Work Environment: Outdoors, construction
