ABOUT THIS ROLE

The company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Workday Developer

to design, develop, and maintain Workday solutions, ensuring the platform meets business requirements and optimizes HR, Finance, and operational processes. This role will focus on enhancing system functionality, integrating Workday with other enterprise systems, and delivering solutions that drive efficiency and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Workday development, including custom reporting, integrations, and configuration, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the platform's strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Workday Development and Configuration:
Design, develop, and configure Workday solutions, including reports, dashboards, integrations, and business processes.
Create and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and APIs for seamless data flow with other systems.
Develop custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to provide actionable insights and meet stakeholder requirements.
Configure and optimize Workday modules such as HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Benefits, Talent Management, and Finance.
Platform Optimization and Enhancement:

Analyze existing Workday functionality and identify opportunities for process automation, enhancements, and performance improvements.
Implement best practices for data security, system architecture, and governance to ensure the platform remains secure and scalable.
Support Workday updates and releases, performing thorough testing and validation to ensure smooth adoption of new features.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

Partner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into Workday solutions.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring optimal utilization of Workday functionality.
Collaborate with integration teams to ensure Workday aligns with other enterprise systems like Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Okta.
Troubleshooting and Support:

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday-related issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize disruptions.
Conduct root cause analysis for system errors, implementing fixes and preventive measures to enhance platform reliability.
Maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, test scripts, and training materials.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Integration Developer, Workday HCM Core) are preferred.
3+ years of experience as a Workday Developer, with proven expertise in Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, calculated fields, and reporting.
Strong understanding of Workday HCM and/or Financial modules, including business processes, security, and data structures.
Experience developing integrations between Workday and other platforms using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
Familiarity with Workday release management processes and new feature adoption.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
