Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have:
Experience with EPIC and rehabilitation or acute care
- Work in a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility- Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries- Assist patients in achieving their highest level of recovery with the aim of returning home- Collaborate with a team to deliver comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs- Maintain quality standards and follow protocols accredited by established healthcare commissions- Provide care for a patient population consisting of adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics- Manage a patient ratio of 6 to 1 per shift- Use Electronic Health Record system, EPIC, to document and manage patient care- Wear any color scrubs as per facility requirements- Report at 8 am on your first day and ask for the designated contact person upon arrivalRemember, there are no on-call requirements, and there are no floating requirements for this position.
