Starting wage: $20.00/ hour, Full-time

Hours: 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-5:00pm / Fridays, 7:00am -Noon

Our Rogan's Shoes Distribution Center is located in Racine, Wisconsin and ships shoes to all of our Rogan's Shoes stores throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota! A key component of our success has been the people that work in our Stores, Distribution Center and Corporate office. This job can be a stepping stone to career opportunities throughout Shoe Carnival, Shoe Station and Rogan's Shoes.

It's a physical job! As a Delivery Driver, you should understand that you will be driving 75% of the time and loading/unloading including warehouse duties, 25% of the time. We try to make everyone comfortable by having a climate-controlled environment and relaxed dress code. Due to our large facility, working conditions could still affected by the seasons and weather.

Here is a list of some of the more frequent tasks you could expect to perform during the course of the workday:

The Delivery Driver loads and unloads freight daily and delivers to all store locations weekly.

Freight:

Loads and unloads freight daily.

Unpacks cartons and places individual shoe boxes into cartons.

Driving:

Operates company owned box-trucks to make weekly deliveries to store locations.
In partnership with Warehouse Manager, monitors the maintenance and repair of assigned truck, to include cleaning and scheduling of required servicing.

Regardless of your experience level, please be sure that you meet the following minimum requirements prior to starting your application:

Must be at least 21 years of age and must be able to carry a current and valid Class A or B drivers license with air brake endorsement.
Drivers must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR), and both the driver must be able to pass basic criminal background check and required drug screening prior to conducting delivery service.
Must be able to keep current on all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) criteria.
Ability to work overtime including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products up to 70 lbs. occasionally, 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 30 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate with customers, leadership and other associates.
