Job Summary
Our client, a leader in the beauty industry in Puerto Rico, is looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This position oversees the financial and accounting operations of a group of subsidiaries in Puerto Rico.
Responsibilities and Duties
Financial Experience: In-depth knowledge of financial management, accounting, financial reporting, budgets and projections.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement financial plans that align with organizational objectives.
Leadership: Experience leading financial teams and working effectively with other departments.
Analysis: Ability to analyze complex financial data and market trends.
Communication: Ability to communicate strategies and financial data clearly.
Experience in Risk Management: Ability to identify and mitigate financial risks.
Updated Knowledge of Financial Regulations: Understanding of local and international financial markets.
High Ethical Standard and Integrity: Ethical and responsible management of sensitive financial information.
Education Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting or Finance & CPA.
Solid Professional Experience - Extensive experience in finance and business management, preferably in high-level financial roles with negotiation skills. Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior financial roles, preferably in a multinational environment.
Effective Stakeholder Management - Ability to build and maintain relationships.
Availability to travel - Ability and willingness to travel both nationally and internationally, in order to participate in meetings, training, visit clients and banks, as well as interact with stakeholders.
Regional experience a plus.
Supervisory experience required.
Fully bilingual.
