MBE CPAs, LLP, and its affiliate group are growing! We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to guide the financial systems that empower us as we navigate our future strategic initiatives and opportunities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Regulatory, Billing, Collections and Cash Management functions.
Manage an internal book of business of the Affiliate Group and related entities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Directs the preparation of all financial statements, including cash flow projections and modeling, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
Directing and performing financial analysis and data analytics to identify trends and areas of improvement.
Responsible for driving the organization's financial strategy.
Responsible for and directs the overall budget process. Updates budgets as necessary and forecasts projections.
Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of reorganization.
Works with the management team to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
Oversees investment of funds and works with banking partners to raise additional capital required for expansion as may be necessary.
Assists with Merger and Acquisition transactions.
Responsible for Quality Control/Internal controls.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent management and supervisory skills.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
Proficient in database and accounting computer application systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required.
Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
Eight to ten years of experience in financial management is preferred.

What will my schedule look like?

This role supports our office hours of Monday-Friday 8a-5p with flexibility for business needs as it relates to being in a leadership role. This role will work onsite out of our Baraboo office.
