2 years in an acute hospital required; ICU background highly preferred License:
Compact License or WA single state Certifications:
ACLS, BLS Must-Have:
- Sedation experience required - Proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias (test required)
- Provide care in intake, sedation, and post-procedure areas with specified nurse-to-patient ratios. - Assist with various procedures such as biopsies, irrigations, and decompression tubes. - Support with electrosurgical units and other equipment. - Help position patients and prepare for procedures. - Handle scope care and maintain equipment cleanliness. - Work in a facility with a focus on high volume, high acuity, and preference for teaching/trauma experience. - CRNA's available for patients requiring MAC sedation. - Perform duties under a facility that is Magnet recognized. - Utilize Epic charting system. - Float required within the endoscopy procedural and pre/post-area. - Fulfill call shifts:
1-2 weekends/holidays per month. - Participate in orientation processes and complete necessary modules.
