Requisition Description

Position Responsibilities:

We are looking for an event coordinator.
The coordinator will assist the meeting/event staff with all aspects of planning meetings or special events (mainly retreats) within the organization.
Responsibilities include location, food, transportation, and presentation arrangements.
A high school diploma or its equivalent may be required, along with necessary years of related experience.
The coordinator should have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
This role relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions and works under immediate supervision, typically reporting to a supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Support anywhere from 1-10 events per week at the Seattle site, ranging in size but typically involving 150-500 total employees gathering on-site during any given week.
Act as the on-site point of contact for Seattle team gatherings, interfacing with organization leaders, assistants, and event contacts.
Contribute to on-site event operations in partnership with the Workplace (Facilities) team to ensure event supplies, catering, design assets, etc., support a great attendee experience.
Support team gatherings nationally, including assistance with building access, event pages/RSVPs, attendee resources, and issue resolution in support of remote event planners.

Salary Range:
The salary for this position is between $45,000- $50,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
